Michael Fertik is the CEO and Founder of Reputation.com. Credited with pioneering the field of online reputation management (ORM) and widely recognized as the world’s leading cyberthinker in digital reputation, Michael founded Reputation.com with the belief that people and businesses have the right to support and protect their online reputation. He is a recipient of the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer Award, and through his leadership, the Forum named Reputation.com a Global Growth Company.
Fertik is regularly published in the Harvard Business Review, Reuters, Inc.com, Newsweek, and elsewhere. Named one of the first LinkedIn Influencers, he regularly comments on current events as well as developments in entrepreneurship and technology, appearing regularly in venues that include the BBC, Good Morning America, the Today Show, CBS, CNN, Fox, Bloomberg, and MSNBC. He is the author of two books, Wild West 2.0 (2010), and the New York Times #7 best seller, The Reputation Economy (2015).
Fertik founded his first Internet company while at Harvard College. He received his JD from Harvard Law School, where he now teaches courses on digital reputation and entrepreneurship.
Ankur Bhatnagar is responsible for Reputation.com’s international sales and worldwide business development. He brings with him a wealth of experience in strategic partner sales, channel sales, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Reputation.com, Ankur led the Cisco Security Business Development team. As part of the IronPort acquisition by Cisco, he spent nearly four years building out the Systems Integrator channel (with 20-plus partners) in Europe, which was focused on large enterprise accounts. He then managed the entire Cisco Security Channel (450-plus partners).
Ankur received his MBA from Harvard University and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University with academic honors.
Bruce Scott has over 40 years of Silicon Valley startup experience where he has contributed as an original author, founder, co-founder and executive manager. His experience includes database, security, Salesforce.com applications, and web applications. He was the first employee to start work at Oracle, where he co-authored the original first three versions of Oracle database product (the first commercially available relational database product) and is known by Oraclephiles as Scott/Tiger. He co-founded Gupta where he authored the first PC-based client/server database product and helped Gupta achieve a successful IPO. He has been an Agilist for over a decade and has trained many engineering teams in Agile methodologies.
Bruce received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and currently sits on the Computer Science department’s Industry Advisory Board.
Cassie leads our Customer Success, Business Listings, Social Media and Review Response Operations. She was instrumental in starting Reputation.com’s Arizona office, hiring and developing a dynamic team while focusing on creating a great culture.
During her career, Cassie has helped grow businesses ranging from first-year start-ups through public companies, building Customer Success and Operations teams into successful, high-performing teams. Her passion for creating value for the customer is reflected in her vision to accelerate client success through metrics-driven, hands-on teams and world class customer support. She uses actionable intelligence to guide her decisions and to influence customer retention and employee tenure.
Cassie is an Arizona native and has her B.S.B.A. from Northern Arizona University with an emphasis in Marketing and Management.
Chris Sundermeier is General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Reputation.com. He comes to the company after representing various Silicon Valley internet and technology companies for more than a decade as a litigation partner at Cooley LLP. It was there that Chris focused on disputes involving complex commercial contracts and technology agreements, securities, fiduciary duty, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property.
Chris graduated magna cum laude with a law degree from Boston College, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Sundermeier taught Philosophy at multiple universities and colleges around New York City while working on a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Fordham University. He also holds an undergraduate degree in English and Philosophy from Creighton University.
Joy Ghosh leads Reputation.com’s enterprise sales business, and has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the enterprise software space.
Joy has held key global sales leadership roles at Zscaler, IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco) and Symantec. Joy built world-class teams from scratch in each of these companies.
At Zscaler, Joy established their initial customer footprint in Asia Pacific. At IronPort, Joy grew business in his region from zero to $37 million in three years, recording the company’s fastest growth internationally. At Symantec, Joy’s teams also recorded the fastest regional growth for seven consecutive years.
Joy holds an MBA and a degree in electrical engineering.
Mark has held founding marketing, sales, and product leadership roles in successful enterprise SaaS ventures cited among Information Week’s Top 100 ASPs, Forbes’ Best of the Web, and Upside’s Hot 100 Privately-held Companies. He has also run product marketing for PeopleSoft and led a $1.2 billion line of business for SAP.
Mark started his career in the U.S. Treasury Department and served as speechwriter to President George H.W. Bush. As an Executive Fellow at the Center for Digital Strategies at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, Mark has moderated roundtables with Global 200 CIOs. His op-eds on business and social policy have run in venues including the New York Times, the International Herald Tribune and the Christian Science Monitor, where his series on extreme poverty was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
Mark holds an MBA from Stanford and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Dartmouth.
Mark Phillips brings over two decades of financial and operational experience to Reputation.com, and is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s global financial operations. Mark has extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and fund raising.
Mark has spent his entire career in Silicon Valley, and his leadership spans early-stage startups through public companies. Most recently, Mark served as the CFO of RichRelevance, Inc. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA.
Manish brings over 25 years of engineering experience to Reputation.com, and is responsible for leading and managing the company’s engineering team and technical architecture. Prior to Reputation.com, he architected distributed systems for Liveops, Paypal, SAP Markets, and Advent Software. Manish had previously co-founded Phulaxis (acquired by Agiliance).
Manish is a graduate of the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley and has an undergraduate degree from Manipal Institute of Technology in Computer Engineering.
Pascal Bensoussan leads the overall vision, strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans for Reputation.com’s Enterprise platform.
Prior to Reputation.com, Pascal served as Chief Strategy Officer for media intelligence startup Aggregate Knowledge, taking the company from zero to a $20 million run-rate within years, followed by a successful acquisition by Neustar in 2013 as the leading data management platform in the advertising technology space. Prior to Aggregate Knowledge, Pascal was VP of Product for media-monetization startup Rapt, where he held an executive leadership role in the company’s double-digit revenue growth and strategic sale to Microsoft in 2008.
Pascal holds a master’s degree from Stanford University and graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France.
David is the Sr. Director of IT & Information Security at Reputation.com. David is an innovative technology leader with more than 20 years of experience managing all facets of IT infrastructure and information security for top-tier technology and cyber security companies including Cisco Systems, IBM, CrowdStrike and Endgame Inc.
During his career, he has championed, driven, and delivered major cyber security initiatives and has been responsible for the security posture of eHealthInsurance, IronPort Systems and Cisco’s STG BU. Prior to Reputation.com, David served as Senior Director of IT Operations at CrowdStrike, Vice President of Technical Operations at Endgame and Head of Security Cloud Operations at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for leading a multinational IT operations and security team.
With more than 15 years’ HR experience, Pennie specializes in culture development, compensation and performance management, talent acquisition and rapid organizational growth. Prior to joining Reputation.com, she held positions at ChargePoint and Workshare.
Pennie received a BA from Chadron State College and earned her Professional of HR (PHR) certification through the Society of Human Resources Management. She also prides herself in being a mentor to HR professionals beginning their careers.
