Overall I had a great time as usual! But there were a few things that have changed since the last time I was there that I think detract from the experience, and I really just don't understand the reason for the changes. First, the race results papers no longer have the individual lap times. They used to, now they don't. I think it was a good way to see if a certain line you were trying worked better or not, if you can keep track of your laps that is. But it's not saving paper, it's not saving ink, I just don't understand why you would just take that away. Similar to that is that on the graph that shows your time by lap, the minimum value is 20.0 on all my sheets. So when my last 5 laps were in the 19s, they're just not on there. That's gotta be an easy coding thing to say 'If lowest time is under 20 seconds, make lowest limit of y-axis on graph 18 seconds.' Probably the most important very noticeable change though is that we didn't get full speed until the last 4 or 5 laps of the 12 lap race. Every time I've been in the past, they have a warm up 2-3 laps and then you get full speed. Today was 2 laps at maybe half speed, then 4 or 5 at maybe 75%, and only a few laps at full speed. That severely limits the amount of laps you have to hone your ideal line and get that time down. If I'm paying $15-20 per race, I want to get the full potential out of the laps I'm paying for. We asked the guy marshaling and he said if we went full speed any longer the karts would die. That never happened before, and if that's really an issue, I think you guys need to get better batteries or a better charging system. It was only my brother and I in the entire place the whole time we were there, with plenty of karts to keep in rotation, so there should've been no reason not to get more laps at full speed.
